Heygent

I am the CEO and founder of a startup (in development) that will automate time-consuming tasks for buyer's agents, enhancing client responsiveness, organization, and efficiency. heygent will provide a centralized hub for managing clients, tasks, messages, and appointments, reducing missed responses and improving communication. The web-based tool also will give buyers a clear and comprehensive view of their home-buying journey, equipping them with the information they need to make confident, informed decisions and feel great about the process.

Consulting

I am a consultant who works with real estate associations and multicultural organizations to develop fair housing and diversity events, training, and DEI programs tailored to their needs. As a subject matter expert on fair housing and buyer representation, I help organizations create impactful courses and programming that support their members and foster inclusivity. I have also contributed to fair housing training initiatives, including NAR’s Fairhaven, and I design educational content to enhance industry practices.

Agency Refined

I, although with Dr. E’toile O’Rear-Libbett, have created a course series specifically for buyer’s agents, providing a proven system to enhance efficiency, improve client experience, and generate more referrals. These courses offer in-depth training on buyer representation, covering everything from effective consultations and negotiation strategies to getting offers accepted and building scalable systems. With actionable tools, live session replays, and downloadable resources, these courses help buyer’s agents streamline their processes and deliver exceptional service to their clients.

Writing and Speaking

I am a speaker and writer specializing in diversity, equity, inclusion, fair housing, and buyer representation within the residential real estate industry. My blog is called Art of Buyer Agency, and I have written extensively on fair housing and addressing homeownership disparities, including contributions to Realtor Magazine and the California Association of Realtors®. I speak nationwide for real estate organizations on diversity, equity, inclusion, housing policy, fair housing history, and expanding access to homeownership for first-time buyers and those with less generational wealth.
